Frank Mahr (BBA,
JD ’97) of Easton, PA, recently published his first illustrated children's book,
I Can Sleep Alone, which is available
on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. He wrote the book to help his son
overcome his fear of going to sleep by himself (the same son who lost his first
tooth while visiting Hofstra). He hopes other parents can use it to help their
children, and to get some sleep in the process...Erin McDermott (BBA) of Lawrenceville, NJ, joined The University
of Chicago as athletic director, after previously serving as deputy director of
athletics at Princeton University...Miguel Alexander Pozo
(BA) of Roseland, NJ, was sworn in as president
of the Hispanic National Bar Association during its 2013 annual convention
