Deborah Lipner Weisfuse, D.M.D. (B.A.) of Manhattan, NY, was elected vice president of the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA). She was elected by her peers in the field and will serve as the association’s first female president in 2012 ... Alan L. Codkind (B.S.) of Voorhees, NJ, recently founded Visioneering Sports Products, a worldwide sports accessory business, after inventing The CoverGuard, a golf cover tethering system to prevent accidental loss of head covers. Mr. Codkind is CEO and CMO of the company. He is also a part-time speaker at the Center for Entrepreneurship at The Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
