Ralph D. Badinelli (B.S.) of Blacksburg, VA, was named the Ralph Medinger Lenz Professor in Business by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors. He is a professor of business information technology in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.

Maire Simington (B.A.) of Scottsdale, AZ, was installed as a Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), representing the state of Arizona. Mrs. Simington is the senior director of Care Management Services for Banner Health, an integrated health delivery system based in Phoenix, Arizona, that operates 23 hospitals in seven states.
